Kamaljit Singh Jassal is a Retd Navy Commander who retired at a young age and has massive Defence/ Marine experience. As Joint Director in Ministry of defence, he was responsible for macro Perspective Planning, Acquisition and Offsets of the three Services. He went on to join the corporate sector after 22 yrs Govt service and was Country Manager of a MNC and Business Head of an Indian Shipyard.
Kamal has a flair for writing open source articles and these are available on the net. He believes that progress of India can be brought in by good governance which has right structures, enablers and whose dividends are reaped by the Indian citizen. Kamal gets moved by Inequality, denial of Justice and destruction of Nature. He supported SITARA from its inception as the High-tech Defence Innovation Forum at IDSA in 2011.
